VAT

From April 2022, digitalisation becomes mandatory for all VAT-registered businesses.

From their first VAT period starting on or after 1 April 2022, VAT registered businesses that are not already required to operate MTD, will have to provide their VAT return information to HMRC through Making Tax Digital compatible software.

We offer a VAT preparation service, with returns submitted electronically monthly or quarterly.

With the onset of Making VAT Digital, as a Quickbooks online Advanced Certified ProAdvisor, we use and advise clients to use the same package.  It is up to the client what their involvement in using the package is.

This can be done in one of two ways:

-Client providing VAT records to us in good time before deadline, to be inputted onto Quickbooks online accounting package for onward submission to H M Revenue & Customs.

-Client using Quickbooks online package to input VAT records, to be reviewed and submitted by us.

Understanding your needs

“Being brought up on the family farm, and being continually involved in the local and rural community, I am very well placed to understanding what matters for local businesses. Having been involved in business throughout my life, I can provide business and tax advice where needed to support your business in making key decisions.”
